Organic Lavender Bulgarian Essential Oil is derived from one of the 39 species of the Lavender plant. This plant is specifically grown in Bulgaria, and is very different in scent to the other Lavender oils, since it is more floral, fruity, and true to Lavender than the other Lavender oils. 

Lavender Essential Oil is one of the oldest essential oils known; it is believed to be cultivated by the Arabs, and traded with the Greeks as early as 600 B.C. The Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks, all used this essential oil in their day to day living, and helped to spread its popularity across the earth.

Lavender oil is the most calming of all oils; it has both physiological and psychological benefits. It can combat insomnia, stress, anxiety, and headaches. It also can be used for nausea, motion sickness, and as a sleep aide. Lavender oil is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antidepressant. Lavender oil can also be used for any bodily injuries as it can help stop bleeding, cleans wounds, and kills bacteria, stops itching, reduces swelling, all while decreasing pain from the cut or injury. You can also use lavender oil fro earaches, acne, hair loss, chapped lips, cold sores, and respiratory problems. It can also help alleviate hay fever and reduce a fever naturally.

General: As with all essential oils, never use them undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with an expert practitioner that is qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. If being used during pregnancy please consult your doctor as well. Keep away from children. If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body after you have properly diluted the oil in an appropriate carrier.
